Valley Models was set up to offer custom built models and one off commissions that are normally unavailable to buy.I have been a model collector for over 30 years and was often dissappointed to find the machines i had used throughout the years were unavailable in model form so for the last 25 years i have been custom building.We can provide customers with the service of replicating real machines to model form and will consider most projects.We specialise in forage harvesters as can be seen in the FORAGER WORLD pages.To date some 18 different foragers have been scratchbuilt in model form.All foragers are scaled down from the real machine and are constructed mainly of brass and all parts are hand built and every detail is paid to the real machine.There is generally a lot of time involved in any of the forager builds and all prices are based around the time and materials used in the build...Model builds are only undertaken after full payment is received as my model builds are very time consuming and ive no time for customers ordering models and not returning for them...
Due to scratchbuild commitments and limited time,we no longer take orders for tractor conversions but throughout the year i will have a limited amount of tractor conversions on my items in stock page and i may have some available at shows....
I will also consider building models intended for production,this service will include building up the desired model in parts suitable for casting and ready for moulding.The customer will be provided with the master copy in parts to be cast and ready for next step in production....
